Student Development

Community Services

The Social Services Council (SSC) was established in 2011. Our aims are to promote an interest in social problems among students and organize activities for social betterment. Students are provided with opportunities to serve different people such as the elderly and the deprived children in the community.

“Care”, “Confidence” “Courage “and “Commitment” are four important qualities developed through participation in voluntary services. Committee members in SSC play an active role and commit to serve the community. Different programs are designed and implemented to cater for the needs of the community and to allow a high degree of autonomy for students. Valuable experience can help students develop empathy and promote personal growth.
