Application for Form One Discretionary Places 2025/2026 

Registration Details 

Number of S1 Discretionary Places: 51 

Criteria 

Good conduct (Grade B or above); Obtained at least 1A (85% or above) and 2B’s (75% or above) in Chinese, English, and Mathematics in the second term examination of Primary 5 and the first term examination of Primary 6. 

Application details: 

1. Please submit the following documents in person* at our school between 2 January 2025 and 16 January 2025 (excluding Sundays and public holidays) during our office hour (Mon- Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 noon): 

1. The Application Form for S1 Discretionary Places issued by EDB. 

2. The completed School Application Form. 

3. The photocopy of the applicant’s identity document. 

4. The photocopies of the academic report for the second term examination of Primary 5 and the first term examination of Primary 6. (If the primary school has not provided it, it can be submitted later after distribution.) 

5. The photocopies of certificates or awards obtained from Primary 4 to Primary 6 (maximum of 10 items)  

6. One self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage. (Please write the address in BLOCK letters and the recipient should be the applicant.) 

7. Letter of recommendation issued by primary school is NOT required. 

*For parents registered as SSPA e-Platform users and who have linked their account with “iAM Smart+”, apart from the paper Application Form, they may submit DP applications via the SSPA e-Platform. 

*For those submit their application via the SSPA e-platform, please also submit one self-addressed envelop with sufficient postage to our school by mail or by hand on or before 16/01/2025. 

Please fill in the application form carefully. The school reserves the right to reject applications with false, omitted, or inappropriate information. Therefore, it is your responsibility to provide true and complete information on the application form and submit all supporting documents. 

Interview Arrangements 

• Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview. 

• The interview will take place on 08 MAR 2025 (Saturday). The interview list and schedule will be published on our school website at http://www.twghlkss.edu.hk on 24 FEB 2025. No separate notification will be sent. 

• Language and format of the interview: Group discussion will be conducted in English. 

Selection Criteria and Weighting 

Notification of Acceptance 

Successful applicants on the “Successful Lists for Discretionary Places” will be notified through mail and phone call on 31 March 2025. The S1 allocation results will be released on 8 JUL 2025.

申請中一自行分配學位 (2025/2026) 

本校自行分配學位總數:51  

基本要求 

操行良好，達等級B或以上；小五下學期及小六上學期之校內試中文、英文及數學三科考獲1A(85%以上) 2B（75%以上）或以上成績。 

報名詳情 

1. 申請人須於2025年1月2日至1月16日(星期日及公眾假期除外)帶同以下文件於辦公時間(星期一至五上午九時至下午五時，星期六上午九時至中午十二時)親臨本校辦理有關手續*：  

1. 教育局中一自行分配學位申請表存根 

2. 已填妥之本校申請表  

3. 申請學生的身份證明文件副本 

4. 小五下學期及小六上學期校內試成績表影印本 (如果小學尚未提供，可在派發後補交。) 

5. 小四至小六期間獲得之證書或獎狀副本(上限十份) 

6. 一個貼有足額郵票之回郵信封(信封上請用正楷寫上地址，收信人須為申請學生)  

7. 不須提交小學推薦信  

* 教育局由2023年起將中一入學申請電子化。如家長已登記成為「中一派位電子平台」用戶並以「智方便 +」綁定帳戶，除紙本申請表外，亦可透過「中一派位電子平台」遞交自行分配學位申請。 

* 家長如以電子平台遞交申請，請於16/01/2025前將一個貼有足額郵票之回郵信封郵寄或親身交到本校。

學校保留拒絕包含虛假、遺漏或不適當資訊的申請的權利。因此，申請人有責任在申請表上提供真實完整的資訊並提交所有證明文件。 

面試安排 

• 符合基本要求的學生將被本校邀請進行面試。 

• 面試日期為2025年3月8日(星期六)。面試名單及安排將於2025年2月24日上載至本校網頁(http://www.twghlkss.edu.hk)。本校不會另行發信通知。 

• 面試語言及方式：以英語進行小組討論。 

評核項目及比重                                      

取錄通知 

本校會於2025年3月31日致電及發信通知正取學生申請已獲納入「自行分配學位正取名單」。  

中學學位分配結果將於2025年7月8日公布。 

所有個人資料只會用於是次「自行分配學位」申請之用，並受個人資料(私隱)條例保障。
